What we collect, and what we do with it.
Aegis Bio collects what an order needs and what you ask us to send you. Nothing else, and nothing is sold on.
What we collect
- Order details you enter at checkout: name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and the payment reference for the transaction you sent.
- Your email address or mobile number, if you opt in to sale and restock updates — at the research-use gate or at checkout. This is optional and is never required to browse, to order, or to get support.
- Anonymous search terms typed into the catalog search box, so we can see which materials people look for and cannot find. These are not tied to you or to an order.
- Standard server logs kept by Cloudflare, which serves this site: IP address, timestamp, page requested, and user agent.
This site never asks for card details and never stores them.
Why we collect it
- To fulfil your order and to tell you what is happening with it — payment verified, shipped, tracking.
- To send sales, offers, restock alerts and regular updates only to people who asked for them.
- To keep the site working, stocked, and protected from abuse.
Updates by email
Email sign-up is double opt-in: after you tick the box we send one message asking you to confirm, and you hear nothing further unless you do. An unconfirmed sign-up never receives marketing. Every update we send carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. We do not sell, rent, or share the list.
Updates by text
By opting in you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from Aegis Bio at the mobile number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel and HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
- Order records are kept for our accounting.
- Opt-in records — what you agreed to, and when — are kept as proof of consent for as long as you are subscribed.
- Sign-ups that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
Your choices
Use the unsubscribe link in any update email, reply STOP to any text, or message us and we will take you off the list by hand.
